2015 West India tour- the ride back home.

Officially, my journey back home began when I took a U turn at Marhi and descended towards my hotel on the outskirts of Kullu. The next day, I started pretty early from Kullu towards Chandigarh considering the fact that the Duke had to be serviced on the same day in order for me to reach

6 July in Himachal: Kullu- Kasol- Mannikaran

The thing about touring on a motorcycle for a long time and distance is that you lose track of both those variables. Suddenly, nothing really bothers you or matters, you won’t know what day or date it is and you won’t know about the distance you’ve covered until you look at that damn trip meter.

5 July: Ride from Chandigarh to Kullu

My first reaction when I saw 10.15 AM on the clock as soon as I woke up was “Oh shit!” I hoped to wake up by 9 AM at least as I was to ride around 250 KMS on that day and reach Kullu. Normally, with decent roads, I could’ve covered that distance in  3

4 July: Ride from Ajmer- Chandigarh

I woke up peacefully (late) as usual so I made sure I packed the luggage first and mounted it on the Duke. It was hot outside. Parathas were ordered and eaten, I made some calls and suited up. What I hate most about this trip is the number of mineral water bottles I bought to

3 July: Ajmer

Since the previous day was long, I woke up late but immediately began to think of things I had to do in Ajmer. My KTM needed a wash, chain needed to be tightened and the front wheel needed to be checked for air loss as it had 2 light dents on it. Apart from that, my

30 June: Ride from Udaipur to Jodhpur

So, the day began with a lot of excitement as I planned to head out towards Jaisalmer, a city by the desert which was approximately 550 kms from my bed in Udaipur, I had to get going soon so I packed up by 9.30 AM, had breakfast at JMB and immediately sodded off. Now, Kumbalgarh

28 & 29 June Ride: Vadodara- Shamlaji -Udaipur

I woke up at about 10 AM and soon got to know it was a Sunday because I could hear Superbikes vrooming on Vadodara city roads. The streets of any Indian city are void of big Motorcycles except on Sundays because their owners are busy people, working their arses off on weekdays in order to feed

10 Watts Cree LED Lights Review

The Duke 390 comes with a stock Headlamp that consumes 55 watts of current at low beam and 60 watts at High beam. That is shit loads of power consumption with a not so very satisfactory result when it comes to brightness. Then came to my head, the idea of using auxiliary LED lights for my trip
